After Hurricane Irma, many local businesses have been offering discounts to locals who still don't have electricity. Not here. They said their discount is $139/day (and the hotel is nearly empty). The Priceline price is $117.
So much for supporting your local population in need. I will never recommend this hotel to friends and family.
My husband and I live in Dunedin and own a social media business. We recently taught a social media seminar to members of the local Dunedin Chamber of Commerce. Gabriella and the Holiday Inn Express hosted the seminar and did a fabulous job. Gabriella and all of the staff are extremely friendly! The hotel is very clean and the room was perfect for our session! The room was very comfortable - stocked with water, soda, food, etc. The hotel is also in a perfect location for anyone looking to stay in Dunedin. It is close to downtown, backs up to the trail, has a ton of great places nearby and is also close to the water. They have a nice pool and quaint atmosphere. My husband and I highly recommend this hotel! They go above and beyond! :)
The room is very clean, the breakfast is good, with lots of variety. The staff have all been especially polite, helpful, and friendly. There seems to be an air freshener somewhere that makes the room smell like a fruit smoothie, which is a little stronger than I would like, but otherwise everything is excellent.
I think the pool hours should be allowed as long as there isnt any loud commotion or rift raft going on. But a mother and daughter should be allowed to take a swim and relax after a long hot day of being out. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at the on in Clearwater Florida off of 580.

Great hotel, walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Staff very friendly. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Room clean and spacious, very comfortable beds. Would recommend highly! !
